BW - Point 10 - I recommend only removing the outboard bolt and loosening the inner one. The inner is a Censored to access to get back in.

I have had galvanised mesh on mine now for 24 years. It is held down with cable ties that I replace periodically as they become brittle with UV.

I would suggest getting an obd reader and it should tell you status of dpf. It will also show you the cat/dpf temperature and you will know it is regenerating as the temperature reaches around 600degC ...

The intake temperature on the 2.2 doesn't come from the MAF but another sensor on other side of engine.
