Rivets for rear extension panel
Sorry if this has been covered before. I did a search and found lots of details on body cap rivets, but not the panel extension one.

One of my rivets went walkabout so want to replace it, but with one that matches the others. I don’t want to go through replacing them all and having a different type will bug the hell out of me! So my question is…

Can someone confirm the rivets used in rear panel extensions, between the rear door and rear arch of a 110? The ones that aren’t coated in paint and have angular shoulders. Is it RU612253, as on this diagram:

A point in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks

I can't help answer the question, I'm afraid, but for info those rivets were installed after the vehicle was painted and none of them would have been painted.

You need a 3/16" pop rivet and preferably the sealed versions. The part number you found is correct, but I could not get any so used RU612373L which are marginally longer but the same diameter.

Thumbs Up
