Well there's not really any alternative except to put it in "Park" which seems to apply the handbrake anyway.

l find Auto Hold to be a pain when you are in slow moving traffic or trying to park. But it works if you get along with it activating every time the traffic stops. lt can be turned off in the menu.

l did have the thought to have a classic Land Rover as well as the new one.

Series 1's are too expensive but a Series 3 or early coil spring 90 aren't too expensive if you can find a good one.

l've just been offered effectively an as new 2008 Defender 110 TDCi XS Station Wagon with under 5,000 miles on the clock.

l do still love the old Defenders but l also love my 2022 90 Commercial.
