Usually the first thing to leak on a 2.4 is the blanked-off spigot on the plastic manifold on the back of the pump. I've got through two of those (and only one pump) in 270k miles.

| It would suggest (a) there is no power to the switch, or (b) the switch is faulty, or (c) the motor is faulty, or (d) the wiring between the switch and the motor is faulty. |

My mate has one that has done 400k but that’s a TD5. Pumas are obviously a lot more fragile so 200 is good going.
 Always a joker in the house! 200k is just about run in. |
